Miami, FL – October 25, 2018 – Latin Café 2000 opens its third location, this time in the city’s booming downtown Miami/Brickell neighborhood, and celebrated with an all-day community affair. The Grand Opening kicked off with an afternoon ribbon cutting ceremony by owner Eric Castellanos and his wife Kali Castellanos, and continued with a croqueta-cutting ceremony and Bustelo cafecito toast, followed by an extended happy hour featuring live entertainment, light bites and craft beer samples from Vezasur, Kona Beer and Stella Artois. Attendees were captivated by a surprise art installation, the Cafetera Sky Project. Conceptualized by DeepSleep Studio, Kali spray painted and installed 100 cafeteras, putting a Cuban spin on a recent local phenomena and paying homage to the recent Coral Gables’ Umbrella Sky Project. The new Latin Café 2000 serves authentic Cuban dishes and cantinero-style craft cocktails in a lush, modern setting of beautiful greenery and golden hues.
