16th Annual Smash & Grab Fundraiser at Locust Projects
Miami, FL – October 13, 2018 – Locust Projects celebrated its 16th Annual Smash and Grab Art Raffle Fundraiser with more than 300 creatives, collectors, and artists coming together to support the 20-year old organization’s exhibitions, programs, and resources for artists. Founding board chair Dennis Scholl reprised his role as MC, igniting a fast-paced frenzy as he drew names one-by-one sending collectors running across the room to claim their favorite work by 100 local, national and international artists such as Ahol Sniffs Glue, Robert Chambers, Lynne Golob Gelfman, Adler Guerrier, Vickie Pierre, Karen Rifas, Phillip Smith, Typeo, Simón Vega, and Antonia Wright. Guests grooved to sounds by Rhythm Foundation DJs and enjoyed bites by Harry’s Pizzeria, Shake Shack, and 222 Taco and sipped Bacardi cocktails and Concrete Beach Brewery brews.
