ARTSLAUNCH2018 at Adrienne Arsht Center

Miami, FL – September 8, 2018 – The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County kicked off South Florida’s arts and culture season with its annual community event, ARTSLAUNCH2018. More than 7,000 local arts lovers attended the free 12-hour event which included a Community Arts Village with more than 100 of South Florida’s cultural organizations, mini performances, interactive workshops, dance classes, chef demos, kids activities, tours and more. In addition to experiencing 60+ free activities throughout the Center’s entire campus, guests were able to learn more about the Arsht Center’s new season as well as hear from many other local cultural organizations who also showcased their own exciting and diverse offerings. The day ended with a thrilling concert hosted on the Ziff Ballet Opera House stage featuring DJ Kumi, Jahfé and Grammy nominees Locos Por Juana.
