Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU Takes South Beach by Storm: “Charlie Cinnamon: Legendary Press Agent”
Miami Beach, FL – June 18, 2018 – A Standing-Room-Only extravaganza took South Beach by storm! The VIP opening reception for “Charlie Cinnamon: Legendary Press Agent” at the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU features a spectacular exhibition that will remain on view all summer long, through mid-September. The museum’s Executive Director, Susan Gladstone, along with Ira Giller (Board Chairman of the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU), the Museum Manager Nancy Doyle Cohen, and Curator Jacqueline Goldstein welcomed hundreds of arts patrons and community leaders, media elite, philanthropists, and donors. Crowds waited outside the museum an hour prior to the opening to catch a glimpse of the first-ever museum exhibition about the beloved Press Agent, honoring the celebrity-studded life and career of a promotional genius who was nationally recognized and greatly admired. The co-originators of this genius idea, Richard Jay-Alexander and Manny Hernandez, led a star-studded cast for this memorable tribute.
