Miami Beach, FL – May 2, 2012 – At age 43, former NFL player Junior Seau died Wednesday of an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Prior to retiring in 2012, Seau played college football at the University of Southern California and was drafted to the San Diego Chargers where he played 13 seasons and was inducted into the Chargers Hall of Fame. He also played for the New England Patriots and for our very own, Miami Dolphins. Seau, a veteran of 20 NFL seasons and performer in 12 Pro Bowls, was a hero to many and will surely be missed.
