Stephen Starr’s El Vez Debuts at W Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, FL – May 5, 2018 – Stephen Starr’s highly anticipated Mexican destination, El Vez, debuted at W Fort Lauderdale on Cinco de Mayo with a smashing fiesta complete with live performances, complimentary food and flowing margaritas. El Vez himself, the Mexican Elvis impersonator for whom the restaurant was named, riled up the crowd, along with electronic music project Sweet Electra, from Guadalajara, Mexico and lively skeleton dancers. El Vez’s chef, Steve Menter, took to the grill serving up carnitas and elote, along with several other impressive chefs from the STARR Restaurants roster including Chef Justin Smillie of Upland and Anthony Micari of Makoto.
