Family Fest Featuring Miami City Ballet at Adrienne Arsht Center

Miami, FL – April 14, 2018 – As part of the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Free Family Fest series, South Florida families were treated to an on-stage behind-the-scenes look at the art of ballet and mini performances by Miami City Ballet’s Ballet for Young People. The family-friendly program began with an interactive, educational lecture, led by Kris Kramer Arias from Miami City Ballet, followed by performance excerpts from Tarantella and Sleeping Beauty. As a special treat, audience members also got a first look at Le Petite Dance, a new work created by guest choreographer and MCB School Alumni Durante Verzola.
