The Bodyguard Opening Night Celebration at Adrienne Arsht Center
Miami, FL – April 3, 2018 – Opening night of The Bodyguard at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County brought South Florida audience members to their feet as Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum R&B superstar Deborah Cox ended the night with the irresistible classic I Wanna Dance with Somebody. The hit musical, featuring Deborah Cox as Rachel Marron and Judson Mills as Frank Farmer, is based on Lawrence Kasdan’s 1992 Oscar-nominated film. Cast members from the musical attended a meet and greet with the Arsht Center’s Culturist members after the opening night performance on April 3. The Bodyguard will play at the Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House from now until Sunday, April 8.
