Miami, FL – February 24, 2018 – The SOBEWFF teamed up with James Beard Award-winning chef, Food Network personality and cookbook author Marcus Samuelsson to offer guests a sneak preview of his Overtown restaurant before it opens! It started with a kick-off brunch at a reception checking out his brand new space, then guest headed across the street to the sprawling plaza outside The Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater for an all-American comfort brunch rooted in Southern and Caribbean cuisine. In collaboration with the Melton Mustafa Jazz Festival taking place that weekend, guest enjoyed live music while noshing on Samuelsson’s ribs, fried chicken, collard greens, and more!
