Miami, FL – January 24, 2018 – Miami’s most influential women joined together to celebrate handbag designer Ximena Kavalekas and the upcoming opening of co-owner of Mandolin Aegean Bistro, Anastasia Koutsioukis’, newest venture, Mrs. Mandolin, a café and retail store. Ximena Kavalekas, a local handbag designer, named a bag after her favorite restaurant, Mandolin, which has become a best seller online and at retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman. Mrs Mandolin boutique will carry several exclusive colors of the bag. The luncheon, which took place at Mandolin Aegan Bistro, was a preview of the type of fare that will be offered at Mrs. Mandolin’s new project. Anastasia also moderated a talk with Ximena discussing her brand history and being local female entrepreneurs, and their future endeavors. Mrs Mandolin is an extension of the Mandolin brand – a café, market and shop representing the effortless ease of the Mediterranean coastal living and lifestyle carrying homewares and resort wear. Mrs Mandolin is slated to open on March 1 located at 4218 NE 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Design District.
