Beach Polo World Cup Miami Beach 2018 Polo Play at W South Beach
Miami Beach, FL – January 7, 2017 – Guests flooded the beaches at W South Beach for the last and final day of Beach Polo World Cup. Attendees enjoyed premium treatment, sipping on Whispering Angel rosé, Foss Morai Prosecco, Macallan, and handcrafted cocktails from Miami Cocktail Company as they cheered on the athletes till the final finish. For the grand finale, Team La Martina and Team Macallan went head-to-head for the championship world cup title on Sunday afternoon. Team La Martina featuring Riley Ganzi, Juan Bollini and Jesse Bray took home the winning title while Nic Roldan from Team Macallan took home the MVP title. In addition to the finals, the tournament hosted a charity match supporting Beach Polo’s official charity partner, The Bass Museum. The charity teams featured the likes of Louis Aguirre, Inés Rivero, Sterling Jones and Dawn Laurel-Jones, who went head to head on the sands. A percent of event proceeds went to support the Bass Museum’s education initiative. Other notable attendees of the matches on Sunday included Jeremy Shockey, Alexis Stoudamaire, Kevin O’Leary and Daymond John who both did the official throw ins for the final matches.
