“How to Unlock a Portal” Exhibition Celebration by Jacob Fellander at MOCA

Miami, FL – December 6, 2017 – In celebration of Art Basel Miami Beach 2017, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami hosted an evening to celebrate the opening of its newest exhibition “How to Unlock a Portal” by Swedish artist Jacob Fellander. The groundbreaking exhibition marks Felländer’s U.S. debut and represents his creative journey over the past 15 years. “How to Unlock a Portal” leads the viewer into another dimension by traveling through a fusion of virtual reality, painting, photography, and sculpture. By capturing not one frozen moment in time, but several moments, Felländer challenges the definition of time, space, perspective and depth. The museum was packed with Miami tastemakers and art aficionados from around the world who enjoyed cocktails, canapés, live music and a special guided tour of the exhibition by Felländer himself. “How to Unlock a Portal” is on display at MOCA through February 11, 2018.
