Miami City Ballet’s Upper Room Celebrates Opening Night of the 2017-18 Season at YoungArts
Miami, FL – October 20, 2017 – Members of Miami City Ballet’s young professionals group – Upper Room – celebrated the opening night of the 2017-18 season. Guests attended the 50th anniversary of Balanchine’s Jewels at the Adrienne Arsht Center then joined fellow Upper Room members at the Jewel Box at YoungArts to enjoy complimentary cocktails and the high-energy blues sounds of Miami-based “Damn Daddy.” Notable guests included Upper Room Committee members Danny Jelaca of Danny Jelaca Salon, Jane-Marie Russell of Holland & Knight, Veronica de Zayas of Stearns Weaver, Joey Brutus – consultant, Daniel Levine of Leviathan Hospitality, Jessica Shults-Figueroa – former MCB Company dancer, and Gabriel Villar del Saz of Bank of America.
