Miami, FL – September 28, 2017 – Third Horizon Caribbean Film Festival kicked off its second year with a night of festivities at PAMM. The night began with the Miami premiere of Moko Jumbie, Trinidadian director Vashti Anderson’s feature film debut, fresh from its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival. After the film’s screening, the audience enjoyed a mini Q&A with the film’s director via Skype. The PAMM Ambassadors for African American Art enjoyed a private reception on the terrace after the screening, while the rest of the crowd spilled out to the terrace for the opening party. Guests enjoyed free drinks courtesy of Red Stripe and danced to the sounds of Electric Punanny, the Brooklyn-based DJ duo of MeLo-X and Jasmine Solano.
