February 26, 2012 –  Foodies, trendsetters and culinary celebrities gathered at Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s La Côte during the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival to celebrate the beachside bistro’s new extended evening hours. La Côte was also the scene for an exclusive invitation-only soiree celebrating the release of Talking With My Mouth Full, the new book from Food & Wine Magazine special projects director and television personality Top Chef: Just Desserts host and Top Chef judge Gail Simmons. The book details her remarkable career, from her days as a cook and food writer, to her meteoric rise to fame as a culinary personality.

Guests including Alfred Portale of Gotham Steak; Food Network star and restaurateur Bobby Flay, Dana Cowin and Kate Krader of Food & Wine Magazine, Missy Robbins of A Voce, Hugh Acheson of Top Chef and chef of Five & Ten, Andrew Carmelini and Luke Ostrom of The Dutch and Phil Goldfarb and Jeff Klein of Fontainebleau Miami Beach, attendees nibbled on a parade of culinary delights specially prepared by La Côte’s Chef de Cuisine Christina Coupet. Dessert samplings included piña colada chocolates and passion fruit bon bons.
