65th Annual United States Conference of Mayors Celebration at PAMM
Miami, FL – June 24, 2017 – A Latin music explosion greeted the United States Conference of Mayors at the Perez Art Museum. Hosted by Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine and curated by none other than Miami’s finest arbiter of talent, Emilio Estefan, the event offered an incredible vista and unparalleled musical performances. The red hot evening of Latin music was sponsored by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and President Adam Goldstein kicked off the evening with remarks spotlighting the port of Miami as the cruising capital of the world. Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado each extended a very warm welcome to one of Miami’s greatest cultural treasures. Host and MC Enrique Santos welcomed the mayors and delegates for a am evening of world-class performances at a world-class venue — from Arturo Sandoval to Jon Secada to Emilio Estefan on percussion with the Cachao All Star Orchestra. And for the grand finale, the Broadway cast of Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s blockbuster musical performed for a cheering crowd under a stunning display of fireworks.
