Miami, FL – June 9, 2017 – Residents and visitors of Surfside were treated to an evening of festivities as part of PAMM Inside|Out, a program funded by Knight Foundation that brings high-quality reproductions of works from Pérez Art Museum Miami’s permanent collection to communities throughout Miami-Dade County. The program, which kicked off its summer session in the neighborhoods of Little Haiti, North Miami Beach, and Surfside, invited guests to enjoy beachside tours of the artworks on view and join art-making activities inside the Surfside Community Center. The evening also marked the beginning of the #InsideOutUSA Photo Contest, a national initiative in five cities – Akron, Charlotte, Detroit, Miami and Philadelphia – from June 9-12, 2017. By snapping creative photos of the works and posting to Instagram with #PAMMInsideOut#InsideOutUSA and tagging @pamm, guests entered the contest for a chance to win a GoPro Hero Session bundle and a PAMM Contemporaries membership.  PAMM Inside|Out is organized by Pérez Art Museum Miami and is generously supported by Knight Foundation. Inside|Out is a national program that launched in 2010 at Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), and has since expanded to Akron Art Museum, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
