Miami, FL – June 1, 2017 – HistoryMiami Museum opened its “Hurricane Andrew: 25 Years Later” exhibition to the public on June 1st, the first day of hurricane season, with a sold-out cocktail reception at the museum for 500 guests, including famed meteorologist and guest curator Bryan Norcross, who gave an informative and engaging speech to the crowd. The gallery was packed with guests recalling their own Hurricane Andrew stories as they made their way around the 5,000 square foot exhibition that chronicles the story of the hurricane from its formation to the recovery. The exhibition will remain on display through January 14, 2018.
