Coral Gables, FL – April 7, 2017 – Poker faces were on at The Collection as they hosted the first-ever Casino for a Cure poker tournament to unveil the all-new Porsche Panamera. The Porsche showroom was transformed into a luxury casino to benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis with the new Panamera hiding under its silk drape in the middle of the showroom just waiting to be revealed. DJ YSL was spinning top hits as guests sipped on cocktails and champagne and enjoyed delicious passed canapés, while guests tried their hands at blackjack, craps and roulette to win exciting prizes. A silent auction surrounded the showroom where guests could bid on items all to benefit the cause. From signed basketballs and baseballs to a signed 2016 U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team medal, these items were flying off the table to support the cause. Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour had a Fendi pop-up store where they showed off the latest handbags and leather goods. And for dessert, Miami-fave The Salty Donut parked its vintage truck in our piazza handing out delicious artisan donuts. The evening’s main event was the reveal of the all-new Porsche Panamera. Guests were excited to get behind the wheel of the new Panamera to snap a pic and even snagged the opportunity to book a test drive the following day. Porsche’s launch theme is “Courage Changes Everything” – and it does. The courage to mastermind a 4-door sports car changed Porsche’s course forever and the courage of those touched by the Bouniconti Fund is without compare. The Panamera is the most technologically advanced Porsche ever built. Prizes from the Poker tournament were handed out to the winners for the cause including a business class trip for two to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta with all accommodations paid for, a 7-day luxury cruise and a basketball signed by the one and only Dwayne Wade. It truly was a unique launch event. One thousand dollars of each Porsche Panamera sale was given to benefit the cause and 100% of event proceeds went to benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.
