The Kidz Medical Services/South Miami Hospital Ball “Puttin on the Ritz” at Trump National Doral Miami

Miami, FL – March 11, 2017 – The Kidz Medical Services/South Miami Hospital Ball, “Puttin on the Ritz,” chaired by Gabriel De Armas, Jr., Zeina and Ghassan Haddad, M.D., and Mari and Romeo Majano, M.D. was held at Trump National Doral Miami. The ball benefited South Miami Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Guests enjoyed a glimpse into the speakeasy era and danced the Charleston to the tunes of jazz greats Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, all while raising funds to support their tiniest patients. Through a campaign called “NowICU,” monies raised will install cameras on each of the NICU beds at South Miami Hospital, which will allow family members to view their hospitalized babies on any web-enabled device, any time of the day. This will greatly reduce the stress and anxiety parents feel when they cannot be with their babies in the NICU.
