Miami, FL – March 13, 2017 – Gilbert Maria, CEO of jitrois., and Lewaa Khalek, owner of the U.S. boutiques, gathered at the gorgeous waterfront Miami Beach home of socialite Christina Getty for an exclusive trunk show and seated luncheon celebrating the South Florida debut of the Spring / Summer 2017 collection. A percentage of all sales made throughout the day benefitted the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, which is the oldest and largest private agency in Florida assisting persons of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. To accent the shopping-filled morning, three blind musicians from Miami Lighthouse for the Blind serenaded the VIP guests while Mr. Maria and Virginia A. Jacko, president and spokesperson for the organization, engaged in inspiring discussions with the attendees, which included jitrois. brand ambassador Tobi-Rae Hundley, notable fashion stylist Elysze Held, Beth Shear, Christine Handy, and as Mr. Maria said, “Tara Solomon, the godmother of jitrois.”
