Lisa S. Johnson

Miami, FL – February 1, 2016 – Lisa S. Johnson, photographer and author of 108 Rock Star Guitars, made her comeback to Miami Beach. During Miami Art Week 2016, Johnson showcased some of her most beloved images from her latest book release. Now, Johnson teamed up with Gallery 88 to close out her exhibit with her three original pieces featuring Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendix and Lou Reed guitars with an additional two pieces featuring Prince and a Miami-inspired edition of Eric Clapton’s photograph as part of a ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll High Tea Time.’ The Rock ‘n’ Roll High Tea Time evening affair was in support of Guitars Over Guns, an organization that delivers high impact arts-based mentoring programs to empower at-risk youth. The event offered unique tea libations by Peko Tea House, Florida’s first organic cold brew tea and ZONIN Prosecco, a lively sparkling wine. British-inspired delights were served by Bunnie Cakes, the only vegan, kosher and gluten free bakery in Miami. Guests also enjoyed rock classic tunes by South Florida Harpist, Kristina Finch.
