Miami, FL – November 10, 2016 – The créme de la créme of business, media and community leaders gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Miami-based Republica, one of America’s leading and fastest-growing independent advertising and communications agencies. The mega-bash took place at ZEST by Chef Cindy Hutson, downtown Miami’s new culinary hotspot. The night’s fitting theme was “A Show of #Gratitude,” honoring Republica’s clients, partners and team members. Jose Diaz-Balart, anchor of NBC Nightly News and Noticias Telemundo, served as the evening’s emcee. Republica’s founders Jorge Plasencia and Luis Casamayor addressed the more than 400 guests (many who flew in from all over for the occasion) with heartfelt words of appreciation, thanking them for their support over the years. Republica’s artful team produced a fun, inspiring video showcasing the agency’s journey their first 10 years. A special moment was when legendary TV icon, Mario Kreutzberger, who couldn’t make the event due to the filming schedule of his new and already top-rated Telemundo show, Don Francisco Te Invita, appeared via video from his new set, from where he made an extremely moving toast to bubbly Segura Viudas cava. Another highlight was when Ginette Magana, senior associate director of the Office of Public Engagement at the White House, read a letter from President Barack Obama congratulating Republica on its 10th anniversary, and saluting the agency on “Stand Stronger,” the award-winning pro bono, non-partisan public service citizenship campaign that Republica created for the White House and non-profit Civic Nation’s Creative Alliance. Throughout the evening there was all sorts of sensory overload as guests enjoyed jaw-dropping contortionist performances, the popular sounds of band Cortadito and  DJ Zaga, the exquisite cuisine of ZEST, delectable libations including Flor de Caña rum-infused “Republica Mules,” craft beer by The Tank Brewing Company, as well as cigars by Plasencia Cigars.
