The Little Lighthouse Foundation Hosts 2nd Annual Children’s Halloween Parade
Miami Beach, FL – October 29, 2016 – The Little Lighthouse Foundation hosted its 2nd Annual Children’s Halloween Parade and Party at Lummus Park in Miami Beach with United States Olympic Gold Medalist Arman “Gino” Hall as the Grand Marshall. Hall, a South Florida native, stated that he “could not be more excited to come back and give to the South Florida community where I grew up”. The Little Lighthouse Foundation hosted hundreds of children and their families from The Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, Children’s Home Society, Lotus House, Feinberg Fisher K-8, Citrus Grove Middle School, YWCA, and Miami Children’s Initiative to celebrate a safe and “spooktacular” Halloween. Children enjoyed a day of games, arts and crafts, dancing, food and beverage, trick-or-treating along Lummus Park on Ocean Drive, as well as a themed Halloween party featuring entertainment by the Fantastic Party Factory, Hasbro, Ricky’s NYC, Halloween Helpers, face painting and styling provided by Luxury Brand Partners, food by the Miami Beach Police Athletic League, refreshments by La Croix, Aqua Hydrate, and Walgreens, and candy by Colombina. Miami Beach Commissioner Kristen Rosen Gonzalez presented The Little Lighthouse Foundation with a Certificate of Recognition for its significant impact on the Miami Beach community. Over 100 volunteers attended, while the community came to cheer the children on the parade route through Lummus Park.
