Miami Beach, FL – October 21, 2016 – Miami City Ballet kicked-off their 2016-17 Season with a stunning  performance of Giselle and a spectacular special reception for donors and VIP guests. Following the performance, the Company – including all 51 glorious dancers – hosted a members-only Artist’s Circle party for 200 top tier guests generously hosted by the Exclusive Season Venue Sponsor, The Deck at Island Gardens. Guests mingled, danced, and relived the remarkable performance while enjoying cocktails by Bacardi and wine provided by Frey Vineyards. MCB Board Chair Sue Kronick gave remarks celebrating the launch of MCB’s 31st season, the philanthropic investment of the Artist’s Circle and MCB’s incredible dancers and visionary Artistic  Director Lourdes Lopez. Executive Director Michael Scolamiero expressed the Company’s deep gratitude to The Deck team, including Michael Capponi and Bahar Bayraktar, who personally spearheaded the partnership between The Deck at Island Gardens with such elegance and generosity of spirit.
