Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado Honors Alicia Cervera with “Alicia Cervera Day”
Miami, FL – October 18, 2016 – 55-years after fleeing Havana amidst turmoil in Cuba, Cervera Real Estate founder and chairman Alicia Cervera was honored by Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, who proclaimed October 18th “Alicia Cervera Day” in the City of Miami. The milestone achievement caps an illustrious 47-year for Cervera, who has been called the “Queen of Brickell,” and is credited for pioneering the modern-day, full-service real estate model for development sales. The proclamation ceremony took place during a private event, which served as the introduction of Visionary: Reflections on a Lifetime of Real Estate, a coffee table book authored by Alicia Cervera. Her daughters and business partners, Veronica Cervera Goeseke, CEO and Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, Managing Partner as well as members of her family stood alongside her. Among the 200 guests in attendance for the ceremony were representatives from the City of Miami, Cervera associates, staff, extended family and some of Miami’s most prolific developers.
