Sinatra: An American Icon Grand Opening at HistoryMiami Museum
Miami, FL – March 3, 2016 – HistoryMiami Museum, located the heart of downtown Miami, hosted a grand opening soirée for its new show stopping exhibition, Sinatra: An American icon. Guests walked down a red carpet and were greeted at the door with fedoras, and immediately were swept back in time to the glamour days of the 1950s. Tall feather arrangements, mirrored decor, and velvet curtains created an atmosphere reminiscent of the supper clubs Sinatra performed at during his time in Miami. Party goers enjoyed Italian bites from Tuttos Pizza and Pasta, and Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select flowed as guests danced to the sounds Ol’ Blue eyes. The highlight of the night was the exhibition which features Sinatra’s famous tuxedo and fedora, never before scene photographs, Grammy awards, and other rare items that offer an intimate look at the man behind the voice. The exhibition will be on display at HistoryMiami Museum through June 5th.
