Javier Abdala VIP Preview at Deutsch Fine Art

Miami, FL – December 2, 2015 – Amidst of all the Basel madness, World Red Eye was fortunate enough to catch an exclusive preview of artist Javier Abdala’s work at Deutsch Fine Art. The works boast mind blowing 3D sculptures of some of history’s most memorable people including The Joker, Marilyn Monroe, Jack Nicholson, Mozart, Salvador Dali and more. Each sculpture takes Abdala a long process of study and research. With each character he strives to achieve the expression of the look in their eyes and the ability to convey the personality of each. Abdala uses materials like pieces of furniture, old car parts, musical instruments and more to construct his works of art. Interestingly enough, Javier Abdala is the only person in his family that did not become a medical doctor. His decision of becoming an artist and creating sculptures is believed to be due to his Dyslexia and Autism. This ended up being a gift not only to himself but to his worldwide collectors.

Deutsch Fine Art is the exclusive distributor of Javier Abdala’s sculptures. After visiting Abdala in Uruguay, Scott Deutsch, Deutsch Fine Art’s Director of Happiness, decided this was the best, most unique, talented artist he has seen in the entire world. He has traveled from Cuba to Bangladesh collecting art.
