Fashion Project at Bal Harbour Shops Hosts Opening Celebration for FP:04 The Anniversary Exhibition
Bal Harbour, FL – November 23, 2015 – Fashion Project celebrated its fourth exhibition at Bal Harbour Shops, FP04 The Anniversary, with curatorial tours of the new exhibition and a discussion between Fashion Project’s curator and exhibition designer Judith Clark and graphic novelist Leanne Shapton in Red Market Salon. The Anniversary is inspired by the years 1965 through 2015 and celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of Bal Harbour Shops. The exhibition focuses on the boutique, where fashion is displayed and consumed. The Anniversary showcases examples of fashion design inspired by nature, reflecting Bal Harbour Shops’ unique indoor-outdoor design that artfully incorporates its subtropical setting. FP04: The Anniversary is the fourth in a series of exhibitions organized by Judith Clark and will remain on view through January 20, 2016. Fashion Project is an experimental space sponsored by Bal Harbour Shops and located on its third level. Its curatorial projects and programs explore fashion and the culture of what we wear. Events and programs are complimentary and open to the public.
