Lionheart Capital Presents Sounds on Surprise Lake with Steinway Sons Florida Grand Opera & Miami Childrens Health Foundation at The Ritz Carlton Residences Miami Beach
Miami Beach, FL – October 22, 2015 – Leading South Florida-based developer Lionheart Capital, together with Steinway & Sons, the world’s premier piano manufacturer, Florida Grand Opera, the oldest performing arts organization in Florida, and Miami Children’s Health Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting world-class pediatric care in South Florida, hosted Sounds on Surprise Lake, an exclusive evening pairing classical music with modern luxury at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach. The grand event, which took place in The Residences’ modernist-style sales gallery, featured a collection of performances by Florida Grand Opera’s Young Artists including Edgar Abreu, Sarah Payne, Daniel Bates and Elena Galván as well as Steinway & Sons’ Young Showcase Artist, 9-year-old pianist Brandon Goldberg.
Ophir Sternberg, CEO and Founding Partner of Lionheart Capital, welcomed more than 100 guests to the sales gallery, inviting them to enjoy the sophisticated sounds of traditional opera and elegant piano music while overlooking the exclusive shores of Miami Beach’s Surprise Lake. Later in the evening, The Residences’ Vice President of Sales, George Mato, toasted the crowd and introduced Flavia Llizo to speak about Together For the Children, The Campaign For Miami Children’s, a fundraising initiative which aims to raise $150 million by 2017 to support the growth of Miami Children’s Health System and its flagship hospital, Niklaus Children’s. Afterward, Susan Danis addressed the crowd about the history and mission of Florida Grand Opera, while Graham Fandrei spoke about the FGO’s dedication to the Young Artist program. Gregory Spiess completed the remarks with a statement about the talented young men and women who make up the Steinway Young Showcase Artist program.
