Miami, FL – October 29, 2015 – Parmigiani Fleurier was delighted to celebrate the launch of its exclusive new Haute Horlogerie offering, the Tonda 1950 Tourbillon, in their new boutique in the Design District. An incredibly intricate and beautiful piece for men and women, the new tourbillon breaks many records for thinness, lightness and beauty. This feat of technology required two year of research and development. From design to production, each stage involved designers, engineers and watchmakers working in complete harmony to breathe life into this slim masterpiece. The new timepiece launch coincided with the formal grand opening of the new US Boutique in Miami’s Design District. Parmigiani felt that Miami was the perfect location for their first US stand-alone store, both because of the Design District serving as the new industry shopping destination and because Miami also serves as a crossroads of continents.
