Miami, FL – September 19, 2015 – It was all about partying for a cause as Friends of St. Jude (FOSJ) Miami hosted its 8th Annual “It’s All About the Kids!” signature event presented by the Andrés Asion Foundation at the JW Marriott Marquis. The organization is made up of young professionals who together help raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The disco-themed event hosted by Fusion’s Nando Vila and Jorge Bernal of Telemundo, along with celebrities and influencers, helped to raise more than $250,000 for St. Jude Hospital. The “St. Jude Stephan Gutierrez Award” was presented to Andres Asion for his philanthropic and humanitarian efforts and Jeb Bush Jr. was recognized for eight years of service as FOSJ Board Chairman. Guests danced the night away to music by DJ Pete Diaz and paddles flew high during the live auction hosted by Ashley Morrison from local FOX 7 and Keith Jones from NBC 6.
