Miami, FL – September 17, 2015 – The man behind Thierry’s Catering, Thierry Isambert, received the Ordre du Merite Agricole last week at Palm Court to a crowd full of tastemakers. His esteemed Consul General, Philippe Letrilliart, presented him with the notable tribute to Thierry Isambert. Thierry Isambert has demonstrated excellence in perfecting his passion in culinary and hospitality industry. Thierry received the first Medal “Chevaliers” in February 2000 and was honored to receive the second Medal “Officier.” The Ordre du Mérite Agricole is an order bestowed by the French Republic for outstanding contribution to individuals who render exceptional services. It also rewards people who distinguished themselves in scientific research in related publications and in public duties. The order was established on 7 July 1883 based on the proposition of the then Minister of Agriculture Jules Méline in an effort to adequately reward services which had a direct and most  powerful impact on the entire national economy, farmers, agronomists, professors, researchers. The Order comprises approximately 340,000 knights to date.
