Fashion Project Kicks Off Fashion Film Festival at Bal Harbour Shops

Bal Harbour, FL – August 14, 2015 -To celebrate the intersection of fashion and film, Bal Harbour Shops’ Fashion Project kicked off their fashion film festival “Dressing Down the Movies” with a private cocktail reception. Fashion Project partnered with Nat Chediak, Director of the Coral Gables Art Cinema and co-founder of the Miami International Film Festival, to select the 24 classic film screenings for the festival.  Guests enjoyed the unveiling of the Fashion Project’s chic 50-seat screening room designed by architect Tui Pranich on the third level of the Shops. Comfortable white leather couches and red accent pillows lined the new screening room as guests sipped on cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Makoto. VIP attendees included Zaha Hadid, Nat Chediak, Tui Pranich and Cathy Leff, among others. Screenings for “Dressing Down the Movies” are playing each day in the Fashion Project from August 15th through September 30th and are complimentary and open to the public.
