Miami Beach, FL – July 17, 2011 –Melissa’s jelly shoes looked almost deliciously edible as waiters circulated silver trays with samples of the fabulous Spring Summer 2012 collection under the shadow of the palm trees at the Grove at the W South Beach, where CEO Michele Levy and Lorenzo Martone hosted a brunch during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim.

Among the highlights of the collection is Melissa’s first collaboration with an American designer, Jason Wu, the 2011 winner of the CFDA Emerging Designer of the Year Award. “Melissa has traditionally worked with European designers and artists, we feel it is time to embrace a more American aesthetic.” Says CEO Michele Levy.
