Miami Beach, FL – February 28, 2015 – Members of Friends of New World Symphony gathered for an evening of funk, soul and disco at Basement Miami. Guests were treated to killer beats by DJ Patrick Walsh, live jams by NWS Fellows Joe Brown and David Koch on trumpet and trombone, delicious cocktails courtesy of Bacardi, U.S.A. and light bites by Basement Miami. Friends of NWS connects young cultural leaders interested in classical music through a series of cutting-edge performances and exclusive soirées.
