Bravo’s “Best New Restaurant” Premiere Celebration at Dolce Italian

Miami Beach, FL – January 21, 2015 – LDV’s Dolce Italian was packed with friends, family and well-wishers for the premiere episode of Bravo’s new restaurant competition show “Best New Restaurant,” which features chef, restaurateur, and Top Chef head judge Tom Colicchio as he dines across America in the hunt for the best new restaurant. Dolce Italian Executive Chef Paolo Dorigato, Chef de Cuisine Loris Navone and LDV Director of Hospitality Dean Tsakanikas were all on hand for the viewing party, along with Top Chef fan favorite Nina Compton, HaVen Lounge’s Todd Erickson, and other Miami Best New Restaurant competitors Rocco Carulli of R House and Aniece Meinhold and Cesar Zapata of The Federal. Guests enjoyed an open bar along with delicious bites including risotto with meatballs, grilled octopus, beef carpaccio and Dolce’s renowned pizzas. The crowd erupted in cheers as it was announced that Dolce triumphed over its competitor, Doma of Beverly Hills. The action continues with other restaurants teeing off for the next several weeks before the Dolce Italian team returns for the semi-finals in eight weeks. Keep tuning in for the next several weeks to watch other restaurants from Miami, Los Angeles, Austin and New York compete for a chance to win the grand prize and bragging rights to be known as America’s Best New Restaurant.
