Miami Beach, FL – January 20, 2015 – For its first introduction to the U.S., the Toronto hotspot Byblos hosted an intimate guest chef dinner in Miami, inviting friends and VIPs to experience a taste of the haute cuisine that quickly elevated its Canada sibling to star status. Behind the Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, INK Entertainment and ICON Legacy Hospitality — two of Canada’s premiere hospitality groups — join forces for what is their 11th restaurant and 9th concept, to bring Miami a taste of the authentic and distinct flavors of the award-winning restaurant. The hit restaurant’s team greeted Miami with great enthusiasm as guests indulged in a menu chock full of traditional dishes, curated by seasoned Executive Chef Stuart Cameron. Menu highlights included Steak Tartare chili paste with mint, yogurt and olive oil, served on barbari bread; Lamb Ribs Dukkah with buttermilk sauce, carob molasses and red chili schug; and slow braised Ontario lamb leg pickled with house lavash and green olive tabouleh. Crispy Qatayef ashta cream with honey syrup and sumac muddled strawberry followed suit for dessert, along with Turkish coffee served with ice cream and pashmak.
