Miami Beach, FL – December 5, 2014 – ELLE DECOR and Fortis Development Group invited guests to 250 Wynwood on Friday evening to present Curating a Neighborhood, a brief talk and cocktail reception to announce the 2015 ELLE DECOR Modern Life Concept House. Michael Boodro, Editor in Chief of ELLE DECOR, joined 250 Wynwood architect Laith Sayigh of DFA, and Miami art producer Anthony Spinello, to discuss the selection of artists and designers who will help decorate and design 250 Wynwood and the Modern Life Concept House, and how their work fits into the context of a neighborhood defined by its artistic and creative spirit. 250 Wynwood is a new, eleven-unit modernist condominium building located in the heart of Wynwood. It is Fortis Development Group’s first in a series of sustainably-built, creatively-designed boutique residences in Wynwood, Miami’s most dynamic and creative neighborhood. ELLE DECOR, the premier magazine for architecture and interior design, with an audience of more than 2.2 million, chose 250 Wynwood as the site for its 2015 Modern Life Concept House, which will be unveiled at Art Basel Miami 2015, because of the building’s innovative design, large, open floor plans, outdoor space, and walls of floor-to-ceiling glass. In keeping with Wynwood tradition, the building will be covered in original artwork. The Modern Life Concept House will feature some of the nation’s finest suppliers of finishes and furnishings and decorative items.
