Miami Beach, FL – December 2, 2014 – Morgans Hotel Group kicked off Art Week with the opening of The Teepee Project at Mondrian South Beach. With music by The Misshapes, Morgans Hotel Group CMO, Alan Philips welcomed guests to experience The Teepee Project curated by Eric Firestone, which features two 22-foot hand painted teepees by artists Jen Stark and Misaki Kawai. On display at Mondrian’s bayfront pool deck through December 14th, The Teepee Project will be installed in various locations spanning the globe. Doreen Remen’s Art Markit Pop-Up  Shop and Vanity Project’s Pop-Up Nail Bar also kicked off Tuesday night and will be poolside at Mondrian until Sunday. Following the Teepee Project launch party, Morgans Hotel Group and MUNCHIES, VICE Media’s food channel, hosted the Miami installment of “Dinner Party” with food by Chef Carlo Mirarchi of Robertas, Brooklyn. The evening concluded with lavish a “Dinner Party,” which gave guests a first preview of the décor of Mondrian’s new Mediterranean restaurant, La Savina, set to open in January.
