April 14, 2011 – I often quote Borat when I am with Jill as it really feels like I have two wives. I have known Jill for over a decade and not only is she our best friend, she is a star in every sense of the word. I have watched her career blossom from a local tv anchor on WAMI networks interviewing people on Lincoln Road, to becoming the face of the Miami Heat, to her work as a CBS sports anchor, and then her move to NYC where she has become unstoppable. In one day, I can see her in the morning on the Today Show, then The Insider, after that in a fashion segment in a taxi, and THEN on MSG networks at The Knicks game – and that’s just in one day. Oh, and that’s all after she completed writing her second book. I truly don’t know how she does it – I’m convinced she has a body double. To watch her star shine truly makes me proud and I am in awe of her accomplishments every day. Jill isn’t only in the midst of an amazing career, she is such a caring, loving, friend to Melissa and I – a true extension of our family. Jilli, happy birthday. World Red Eye loves you !
