Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science 2015 Galaxy Gala VIP Kick-Off

Miami Beach, FL – November 6, 2014 – On Thursday evening, Galaxy Gala Co-chairs Shelly and Marko Dimitrijevic and Jennifer and Gabriel Montoya hosted the 2015 Galaxy Gala VIP Kick-off Reception for the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science at Casa Baja, the home of the Dimitrijevics. The glamorous event was sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland, who presented jewelry by famed designer Robert Procop, who was also in attendance. Beyond the live music, decadent hors d’oeuvres and libations, guests were greeted upon entrance by models dripping in Procop’s fine jewels and had the chance to view his latest spectacular collection of pieces throughout the evening. A portion of the proceeds from sales from the evening benefitted the Museum. Also on display were live animals from the Falcon Batchelor Bird of Prey Wildlife Center at the Museum of Science’s current location. Notable attendees included Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland Vice President and General Manager Juan Lopez, and Museum CEO and President Gillian Thomas. Additional prominent Gala committee members in attendance included Museum Board Of Trustee Chairs and Philanthropic Chairs Trish and Dan Bell, Host Chair Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, Swanee DiMare, Linda Levy Goldberg, Maria Goodno, Bronwyn Miller and Electra Spillis.
