WRE Weekend Guide October 24 – 26, 2014
Miami Beach, FL – October 24 – 25, 2014 – So this week has been a little rough, with all this gloomy weather it seems like the week has dragged on forever. Fortunately, the time has finally come where we can kick-back and do whatever the heck we want! There’s some pretty exciting things going on around town that you won’t want to miss out on so let’s get right to it.
Locust Projects’ Annual Smash & Grab Fundraiser
Looking to add a new art piece to your collection? Well get ready because Miami’s longest-running alternative art space, Locust Projects is holding their annual Smash & Grab fundraiser this Saturday evening. The night will pretty much go like this, everyone will get a raffle ticket and depending on when your ticket is called is when you can choose which art piece to grab. Of course, the sooner you’re called the more selection you will have to choose from. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from an array of works from local and international artists. Best part? Everyone is guaranteed a prize. The funds from Smash & Grab go toward Locust Projects, which supports local artists.

28th Annual Halloween Sundowner at Vizcaya
With Halloween quickly approaching it’s finally time to dabble in something “spooktacular.” On Saturday night, Vizcaya will yet again turn into one giant haunted mansion for the annual Halloween Sundowner event. Come dressed in your scariest, or sexiest costume and mingle amongst aliens, zombies and more.
Fur Coat at STORY
After a long week of hustling at work, it’s nice to have a moment where you can just let it all out on the dance floor. STORY’s famed Underground party will be back at it again this Saturday, bringing in music duo Fur Coat to lead the night’s madness. Plan to wear some comfortable footwear because we have a feeling this night will be going hard far into the early morning hours.
