Bal Harbour, FL – August 20, 2014 – South Florida’s top fashionistas came out to Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour on Wednesday afternoon for The Trend Event, the first official fall event of the season, along with the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami, which was also celebrating it’s 18th year. After being welcomed by a “Let’s Talk Fall” fashion presentation, guests then enjoyed a stellar runway show highlighting must-haves trends for both men and women, including the definitive neutral for the season – gray; beautiful pops of jewel tones in greens and blues; and the eclectic statement of global chic – a multicultural melding of textures and prints. Attendees quenched their thirst with savory drinks by VeeV Vodka and Stella Artois, bites by Piola and the NM Zodiac Restaurant, and rich flavored cappuccinos and sweets as they sat along the catwalk. AmorePacific skin care was also on-hand pampering guests to mini skin care consultations, as well as mini makeovers by Tom Ford beauty.
