Miami Beach, FL – July 20, 2014 – As the sun set over the Miami Beach skyline it was lights, camera, action for La Perla who debuted their 2015 Swimwear collection to a crowd full of VIPs, fashion influencers and buyers on Sunday evening at The Setai. Hosted by Suzy Biszantz, CEO of La Perla North America, Athina Marturet, and Kristin Ducote, attendees were blown away by the brand’s intriguing and unconventional looks as the models posed graciously on staggered podiums for a fashion presentation. Designed in mind for women with many different personalities and styles, the latest collection boasts embroidery of leather paillettes to create a sequin metallic effect as well as a soutache technique, customarily used only in lingerie and now uniquely integrated into swimwear.
