Miami Beach, FL – July 19, 2014 – Fashion and philanthropy joined forces once again as Style Saves hosted their fourth annual fashion show fundraiser on Friday evening kicking off Miami Swim Week. A stunning fleet of FORD models worked the runway at the ultra-chic Soho Beach House for the mission of “building confidence through clothes.” This Swim Week show bolstered the cause of Style Saves, which is to raise funds for underprivileged students in South Florida. In collaboration with The Miami Foundation, Style Saves works with retailers, designers and boutiques to provide new back-to-school outfits, edifying the self-confidence and assurance these students need to succeed academically and personally. Over 500 guests, including Angela Simmons and TV personalities Marysol Patton and LuAnn de Lesseps, gathered to catch the high-energy, back-to-back designer shows featuring Trina Turk, ishine365 and a capsule collection featuring Style Mafia, Kai Lani, Ola Feroz, Del Toro, and illesteva. Guests quenched their thirst from the heat with an open bar filled with endless Peroni beer, Aquaçai and Red Bull as well as delicious cupcakes by Stella’s Sweet Shoppe. In conjunction with the show, Style Saves also hosted an international online auction presented by CharityBuzz.com which gave bidders an opportunity to support the cause from afar.
