Miami Beach, FL – July 18, 2014 – Influencers, fashion industry professionals, and Miami’s elite got their weekend started by attending a private cocktail and dinner to signal the opening of the Fashion Beyond Summer pop-up. The pop-up is in light of the “Beyond Brazil” campaign introduced by The Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers (ABEST), the Brazilian Trade and Investment  Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT). “Beyond Brazil” aims to shatter expectations of traditional Brazilian swim fashions and highlight the cultural influences of art, music, and cuisine under the theme Fashion Beyond Summer.

The evening began upstairs in the Soho Beach House library, guests sipped on delicious cocktails and munched on lite bites before moving downstairs for an lavish, intimate dinner under the stars at Cecconi’s. After the dinner guests mixed and mingled while browsing a selection of new, seasonal designs from 16 of the country’s top labels, including names such as Adriana Degreas, 2 Rios Lingerie, Blue Man, Lenny Niemeyer, Brigitte, Cecilia Prado Mare, and more. Live performances by the Brazilian artist Ricardo Càstro and the Saulo Duarte e a Unidade band kept the energy alive, adding the perfect touch to the ambiance.
