Beck’s Live Beyond Labels Launch
Aloe Blacc
Miami, FL – July 8, 2014 – What do you get when you pair a savory German beer with some of the hottest artists in the game? One epic bottled collaboration. Last night, Beck’s Beer kicked off their summer-long Live Beyond Labels series at the Electric Pickle with a showcase of the newest labels inspired by singer/songwriter/rapper Aloe Blacc and Miami-based visual artist Typoe. For the past 27 years, the brand has replaced it’s traditional labels with the original designs from both emerging and established artists, which have included artists Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Yoko Ono, MIA and Kid Cudi. The engaging Live Beyond Labels series celebrates the fact that design is everywhere and going beyond just an ordinary design, the program intends to transform the traditional into the exceptional, by giving creative people an opportunity to treat millions of Beck’s beer bottles as a non-traditional artistic canvas. “The Man” himself, Aloe Blacc rocked the celebration with a crowd full of Beck’s fans last night. Typoe was also on hand for the stellar performance and to showcase his works. If you have yet to encounter one of these hot new bottles, keep a look out because they are currently sweeping the nation with their fresh new look and even fresher taste.
