Miami Beach, FL – June 19, 2014 – It’s finally back and better than ever! On Thursday evening, Gap celebrated the highly anticipated re-opening of their Miami store on Lincoln Road. The new two-story,19,000-square-foot store is Gap’s first Miami flagship and is the first retailer to deliver a new iconic structure amongst the historic architectures along the Lincoln Road Promenade. Guests jammed out to the sweet sounds of Classixx and Neon Indian, while browsing the stores expanded product assortment of women’s, including GapFit and the addition of GapMaternity, as well as men’s, GapKids, babyGap and GapBody. A special seating area equipped with power outlets allowing shoppers to easily charge their phones is another exciting and innovative feature you can expect to see at this store. Guests in attendance last night also created monogramed totes with Miami-inspired photos taken by an influential group of Miami-based Instagrammers that Gap partnered with for the opening, including Annie Vazquez, Brian Ladder, Jose Narvaez and Noah Mostkoff. Designed by award-winning Miami locals Carlos and Jackie Touzet of Touzet Studio. To celebrate the re-opening, Gap is offering a special promotion to customers who make purchases of $75 and above beginning Friday, June 20th and throughout opening weekend. Those customers will receive a special monogramed tote designed with Miami-inspired photos taken by influential Miami-based instagrammers.
