Miami, FL – June 11, 2014 – Although it has yet to be built at Brickell City Centre, EAST, Miami seems to already be leaving quite a memorable mark on this city. On Wednesday evening, a stylish coterie of international and local VIPs came out to the Mandarin Oriental Miami for a fabulous beachfront disco bash in celebration of the winter 2015 arrival of Swire Hotels’ first outpost in the United States, EAST, Miami. Featuring beautiful beach-chic décor, premium open bars and delectable tasting stations, attendees mixed and mingled under the stars with Swire Hotels’, Managing Director, Brian Williams, Director of Brand Communications, Clare Laverty and Director of Sales & Marketing, Hotels & Restaurants, Dominic Purvis. Naturally, the party wouldn’t be complete without a perfect mix of feel good music from New York’s Amanda Warner of acclaimed synth-pop duo MNDR, and San Francisco’s disco-house DJ Viceroy. VIPs of the evening included Ryan Phillippe and girlfriend Paulina Slagter, Miami Beach Mayor, Philip Levine, Jason Binn, Carole Seikaly, Gabriella Wimmer, Fabian Basabe and Martina Borgomanero Basabe, Christina Getty, Josh Button, and Leann Standish.
